If you’re watching for thrills, noise and more excitement than you can stand, then craps is the game to enjoy.
Craps is a fast-paced casino game with whales, low-rollers, and anyone in between. If you’re a person-watcher this is one game that you’ll love to study. There is the high roller, buying in with a huge bankroll and making boisterous announcements when he wagers across the board, "$520 across," you’ll hear him exclaim. He’s the gambler to watch at this craps table and they know it. They will either succeed big or don’t win huge and there’s no in between.
There’s the budget gambler, most likely trying to acquaint himself with the high-roller. He’ll tell the other individuals of books he has read on dice setting and hover around the most accomplished shooter at the table, all set to talk and "share ideas and thoughts".
My favourite gamblers at the craps table are the real gentlemen from the good old days. These elderly gentlemen are usually tolerant, commonly gentle and will frequently offer hints from the "good old days."
There are many other characters that you will find around a crowded Craps table. When you take the plunge and intend to join the game, be sure you use good behavior. Find a position on the rail and put your $$$$ down in the "come" spot. Don’t ever do this when the dice are in motion or you will be known as the last character I am going to mention, the ass.
