You observe a craps table with a couple of available seats. Which location should you occupy? That’s a matter of personal choice. Is there a gorgeous man or woman playing by themselves at 1 end of the table? Which players are using cigarettes? Which look apathetic? Who seem inebriated or atrocious? Pick a position where you will feel the most comfortable.
I like playing on the end, directly beside to the croupier. On the end, I don’t need to worry about players on either side of me. I do not like betting near to the stickman because I always seem to get in the way of them reaching for the dice or moving the stick.
After betting for a bit, you will get a sense for your preferred spot. You do not have a pick when it’s packed. If you end up in an awful spot (for example, an appalling guy is beside you), simply switch to a different free location. If the table is filled, wait until a person leaves and take their seat. Be aware of a player "coloring up," which is a sign that she is leaving, and tell the dealer that you wish to move into her position. The dealer will then reserve that spot and not allow a different player to rapidly step in. The croupier will amiably ask the new individual to switch to the spot that you vacate. Clearly, when you change positions, do not forget to take your chips.
People near you can affect your mood and entire wagering experience. They can make it exciting or miserable. You may get stuck next to a chimney like fat guy with horrid body odor, or it may be a bevy of drunk chicks spilling out of their skimpy tops. So, choose your spot wisely.
